Our Programs

Consultative programs of resources are initiated by the management committee to ensure support of the activities.

We recognize the limitations of the policies by organization open forum for all people living with HIV/AIDS in Kenya, in this regard we aim at strengthening and promoting appropriate involvement of people living with HIV/AIDS in Kenya.

We implement our programs using sympsthetic process of community development which icludes:

  • The entry phase that comprises of community resource center where all our activities are monitored.
  • Community consultation and approval of our programs and identification of expected target audiences to ensure ownership and sustainability of the programs. Incase of HIV/AIDS community consultation is also done to ensure that implementation approach is in tanden with cultural and linguistic consideration of the local communities.
  • GCH-Foundation uses community development process for establishing and maintaining its following major programs:

    HIV/AIDS Education, control and prevention program

    We focuss on preserving and enhancing the physical and mental health of a community including medication of HIV/AIDS infected persons.

    To enhance proper implementation of this particular program we run a sub-program known as Addlife Clinics and shops in a network of franchised health outlets in local communities owned and operated by qualified health workers in partnership Addlife Health Solutions Africa. The goal is to improve access to basic essential drugs and supplies foor children and their families inline with the ministry of health guidelines.

    Scholarship Programs

    The program is designed to offer assistance to bright and talented Kenyan students to secure educational opportunities locally and abroad. The program is committed to providing excellent services to prospective studentds and their families by sponsoring and connecting them to reputable institutions of higher learning throgh out the world. Our Students will be drawwn from local primary, high schools, colleges and universities and have a strong desire to obtain further education in academic fields of their choice.

    Our scholarship program is based on the historical Kennedy/Mboya Student airlift of the 1960 through a partnership with individuals and institutions with an intrest in creating leadership opportunities for young people in Kenya and Africa as a whole. It wwas established with a goal to provide the best of the best services regarding education and job placement. We want to be pioneers in the field of providing higher education opportunities and to coordinate educational scholarships for needy and deserving students.

    Computer Program (ICT Program)

    To ensure that everyone in our community has access to the internet and computer related technologies, we have set ourself to operate a computer drop in centre at our resource centre at Komarocks and runs a community networking program, the drop in centre is scheduled to be operating seven days a week for 70hrs. It is and will always be a centere for internet and research, access, word processing, graphic design, spreadsheet software, computer tutorials and technical support.
